The Basic Leadership School (BLS) is a secondary school track of Youth With A Mission’s University of the Nations, which teaches students via, and simultaneously while, running a Discipleship Training School, a primary school track. The school consisted of a 12-week lecture phase based in West Sussex, England, followed by a 9-week outreach phase spent in Mid and Southern Thailand.

The Discipleship Training School (DTS), as mentioned above, also consists of a two-fold mixture of lecture phase and outreach phase, however, our school was a Mobile DTS. After 2 weeks of orientation in Paisley, Scotland, we students loaded passenger vans and travelled throughout western Europe stopping in a new town every couple of weeks to do both classroom lessons and local outreach before traveling to our next destination, until we arrived back to Paisley, Scotland.
